Here's a snapshot of this weekend's intensive:
GATHERING
I enjoyed dynamic collaboration with the PT's at McKenzie Crossing Orthopedic Physical Therapy. Thank you, Cheryl Gesik for inviting me to explore ABM NeuroMovement with your curious staff. I can't wait for our next collaboration.

CHOICES
Singing or counting? Counting to 5 or to 6? My turn or Mukti's turn? This cutie takes it all in quite rapidly! We work, then take a break, then work, then break.
In ABM terms it can be described as learn / integrate / learn / integrate.

EASY PEASY LEMON SQUEEZY KATHY Yep, that is my name to Gideon! That is what he calls me and that is how he introduces me. I love this kid! He takes his learning home!!! And, if you want to know what "easy peasy lemon squeezy" means? Well, I think you can ask any one of my kiddos and they will show you! |
HERE AND THERE
We all have movements/patterns that we do without thinking. A person with CP might experience this powerfully. By naming the movement and going with that system, we can "create" intention into a movement and thereby give it some meaning. Sweet Annalise was going from here to there as she felt her spine engage in rolling to her side. Smarty pants!
