Powerful Women
There are so many powerful women in my life. On this day I hold these 6 close to my heart:
my mom, my sister, my daughters and myself.
We are interwoven and connected.
I show my vulnerability and gather strength from here.
I love these women.

And...
I am also reminded of so many other amazing women who make a difference in my life:
grandmothers, aunts, cousins, friends, colleagues, teachers, coaches, partners, mentors and clients.
Thank you. I'm so glad to have you in my life.

But...
Today, I want to send a special appreciation to those women who I see come to my office and entrust me to love their children.
These are women who:
~ have children with more challenges than most
~ spend hours researching diagnoses, therapies, medications, equipment to name just a few...
~ drive countless miles to appointments
~ manage diverse and complex needs (nutritional, physical, emotional, cognitive, medical to name a few)
~ rarely give themselves a moment to breathe
~ seldomly take time for themselves or address their own needs
These women.
They are strong and vulnerable.
They need support.
And love.
And rest, and time and compensation, and chocolate!
I love them.
