Since our focus is on the brain and on learning we refer to Anat Baniel Method NeuroMovement® sessions as lessons. Through gentle exploration, during our in-person lessons, you become a more powerful learner and can expect change in movement/thinking/feeling.

Respect + comfort + playfulness = connection!

Working with children is often like catching a moving target. That being said, the power of our child’s brain to receive new information and create change is immense (under the right conditions). During your in person NeuroMovement® lesson Kathy will work with your child in a position that feels safe and comfortable - ALWAYS beginning from what they can do.

  • ABMNM lessons for children run 30-35 minutes with a short integration break in-between 2 lessons

  • Bring a snack/bottle (little ones can get very hungry!)

Lessons are scheduled in a series for maximum outcomes.

An immersive experiences provides the brain with rich, new information, helping to form neural pathways, filling in developmental gaps, and offering many more possibilities.

It’s all about YOU.

In a NeuroMovement® lesson, you typically lie on a table while the practitioner moves your body in various ways that present useful information to the brain. You and the practitioner work within your range of ease, bringing awareness to your current patterns of movement, thought and action, while introducing new possibilities through Anat Baniel's 9 Essentials.

  • Lessons generally run 40-45 minutes long

  • Wear comfortable clothes (including socks)

  • Come ready to learn and explore

For optimal benefit, it is recommended to work in a series.

With a series 4-6 lessons close together, your system receives lots of new information to create new patterns… otherwise old-habits can sneak back in.
